I bet Tulsi’s dad ran a Christian organization. Not a conversion therapy hate group. Just a normal Christian organization with normal Christian values. A huge blow to my respect for Weiss.

So net: @bariweiss WRONG about both “Tulsi is an Assad toady” AND “Tulsi backs conversion therapy.” Did she ever acknowledge she was slandering Tulsi & her “facts” — like your excellent example of JK Rowling also being “known” — were false?

This was over 5 years ago. Almost everything I've seen on @bariweiss' @TheFP indicates that this embarrassment is part of what taught her exactly what was wrong with the system she relied on for her information. That said, there are still PLENTY of people who behave like this.

You are right - this is so cringe and Bari is just wrong here and the whole thing is embarrassing. However - it was a long time ago and Bari has gone through a whole political evolution since then and no longer works for the NYT instead having started her own comapny called The Free Press. Her company is really cool and does some great reporting and has great people working there who are real journalists and not weird woke crazy people posing as journalists. And she also has Trump supporting journalists there. I would be so interested to see what she says about Tulsi and her own mistaken opinion today.

No wonder Kamala Wouldn’t appear on there. Her lies would never hold up. That spoke to the people so much so in a way that she would also not be able to prevent world war three with global leaders if she couldn’t even go on his show.
