Most people lease nice cars-not buy. I think rule of thumb used to be over $5k down, every $1k extra only saves you like $8-10 per month. May depend on the interest rate

I purchased two quality vehicles. The one I paid 50K for in 2007, drove it for 13 years and got back 29K. 2nd vehicle in 2019 I paid off in 3 years and have been driving it free for the last 4 years. Only maintenance are oil changes, battery, wiper blades, tires.

A lot of people that have newer cars is because they lease them , every year or six months they switch cars lol I mean is nice cuz you get to drive new cars but I mean you don’t owe them is like paying rent basically
