@EllieChowns @LisaSmartMP @Euan4Falkirk @sarahjolney1 You should note that the Scottish Government elections are done by Proportional Representation. If Scot Gov elections were First past the Post = many fewer Tory & Labour MSPs in Scot. SNP would overwhelmingly win on a better %age of the vote than many Westminster 'landslides'.

Today in Parliament 📢 MPs asked important questions to the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, including on the impact of the increase in National Insurance employers contributions on general practice, which was raised several times with thanks to Martin Wrigley MP MP, Sarah Olney MP, Lincoln Jopp MC MP MP, Seamus Logan MP, Wendy Chamberlain MP and Shadow Health Minister Dr Luke Evans MP MP. In response Wes Streeting said GPs needed to "hold tight for funding allocations" so they could make "informed decisions about staffing and patient care." It is important that practices are given urgent clarity on how additional resources to cover these costs would be allocated, and separate from any additional investment in general practice so that it does not come at the expense of improving patient care.

My representations to the Backbench Business Committee for a Backbench Business Debate on Trends in Excess Deaths. Unfortunately, we couldn't secure a three hour debate in the House of Commons chamber, but I am hopeful we will get a date in January for a debate in Westminster Hall. *The most pathetic thing I've seen in parliament, ever* Dawn Butler MP says Sarah Pochin MP's iss racist Deputy Speaker tells her off and tells her to withdraw the remark Butler repeats, Pochin is racist Deputy Speaker tells her off again for calling another MP a racist Butler repeats what Pochin said and says that is a racist comment Deputy Speaker says its not the comment, but the fact that you called another MP racist Butler, "You're giving me deja vu. I appreciate in this house we have to be respectful and not call MPs what they actually are. The comment is a racist comment. It's strange I can't call her out for being a racist, having made a racist comment" Deputy Speaker, "Please, time and time again, please consider withdrawing the comment about a member of this house being a racist" Butler, "I don't want to be thrown out of parliament again.
