What Purgatory is actually like according to eyewitnesses 😳😳😳 It's terrifying

Obviously, we don't want to dismiss the Saints' writings and experiences. With that said, these are subjective experiences, and we should keep a couple of things in mind: -In Heaven, the Beatific Vision is one, but “star differs from star in glory.” The Saints enjoy different degrees of participation according to their charity and the particular crowns they merited. -In Hell, the damned suffer differently according to the gravity and kind of sin, and their punishment is proportioned even if the excruciating experience is similar. So, there's no theological reason to assume that Purgatory would be experienced uniformly. But as a matter of charity, because of our uncertainty, we should remind each other often of the consequences of even venial sins and shake ourselves out of a presumptive comfort zone, about ourselves and especially about the departed.

I pray for them with every Rosary and ask them to pray for us.

Being in a place where your salvation is absolutely assured cannot be all that terrifying.

So the God of love and mercy who died for you is going to send you to a terrifying place, what hogwash. So Cameron, what would this place be to you, a place where you can’t peddle the gospel for a profit?

"Eyewitnesses" are just reporting bad dreams. "Terrifying" is the sales pitch. Purgatory is a layaway plan for a bill Jesus already marked paid in full. The thief on the cross skipped the waiting room. Grace doesn't come with a service charge.

The fact any sane man thinks these stories are i) real ii) logical iii) evidence iv) useful is perfect testimony to how false beliefs rot the brain!
