What rank do you think this player is?

GM2 player who played like this the entire match, also said “gambit diff” at the end. This is the main issue you see in every rank, from bronze all the way up to eternity. People making all their decisions on hopes and dreams. I promise you once you take accountability and realize you need to review your matches the game gets much more fun. You may be one of these people who get by existing in a space and using or having decent mechanics while good players make up for your mistakes.

If there’s one thing rivals has taught me, it’s that bad players or players that make bad decisions exist up to eternity. It’s just less likely the higher the rank.

Yea I absolutely agree, it’s just fascinating how delusional some people are. They genuine don’t understand what’s happening around them.

This is a gm2 player currently idk their peak. I see this behavior in every single rank all the way up to eternity. You get people with half way decent mechanical skills on a strong hero making mistakes that get covered by better players. It’s mind blowing.

I mean this guys awareness is shit, but second most finals while you have the lowest heals by a 10K margin I’d be reviewing the vod for why your heals were so low before looking at what this guys doing lol.

Oh I absolutely did lol the biggest issue was the constant staggering at each point. I made mistakes and learned from them but this was consistent behavior/gameplay from these 3 in a stack. We were down almost every fight.

Any other game I’d say silver/gold just off the first 10 seconds of floor crosshair placement and straight line walking but prolly diamond/Gm on rivals

Omg they were in a 3 stack, upon further review they were all oblivious and played exactly like this. It’s wild when you start to realize how many people are just oblivious to everything happening and they expect to do well. How can you make a play that can help win the game if you make all your decisions blind.

What I DO know is by watching how janky their movement is they are without a shadow of a doubt playing only at 60fps when they could be playing in HFR Mode.

Reaching GM with this level of awareness is the definition of a boosted player. They may have decent mechanics but they end up making numerous mistakes that get covered by better players. Essentially existing in a space and making all decisions with zero information other than what they think they want to do in the moment. That is the reason you see wide skill differences regardless of the rank, players overextending and blaming heals, supports tunnel visioning and complaining about dive, visual clutter complaints (even tho it is an issue, it’s worsened by tunnel vision). These players build a sort of ego and use it as “well I reached this so I know what I’m doing” no you don’t and acknowledging that isn’t ever a bad thing. Learning and improving is an amazing thing and it should always be happening if you’re playing ranked where the goal is to win and improve to continue playing higher skilled players as you progress. It’s the players who become toxic over this sort of thing that are a problem.

Honestly it didn't matter, by the time he got to you 2 were dead anyways. He was going to stall the point at that point, hoping to take an off angle but you all died so yeah him going that way wouldn't have changed the outcome.
