Yes. Children will try to cry their way out of any situation under parental control. It doesn’t mean you have to whoop them for it. That just teaches them adults are a means of authority and abuse.

This is nice to see. He is able to express his emotions and what he needs at a young age. Far more advanced than most grown men.

This is sweet, however, he is still pulling tricks on mom to delay going to bed.

Establishing boundaries, respecting the childs feelings (not saying: Don't be angry) and being firm but affirmative. Parenting done proper.

This is also what mini manipulation looks likes. We don’t play with that Sir, go take those tears to Jesus in your nighttime prayers. He’ll listen!

I have one, my G-Granddaughter just turned 2 this September. I always calm her with "I love you, do you love me?" She always immediately calm down, and says, YEAAAHHH! Then we embrace, then I calmly explain it then she accepts whatever I need her to do! She's sooo Sweet👼😇💕💕
