Martha Avila was in her home putting away groceries when a Tesla, alleged by the driver to be on autopilot, zoomed through a residential neighborhood, flew across a homeowner's yard, and barreled into her home. Doorbell footage captured the car smashing into Avila's home, resulting in her death. 44-year-old Michael Butler, the driver of the Tesla Model 3, says the AutoPilot feature was engaged during the crash, and the incident is currently under investigation.
