Loss of driver’s license. Rules around busses haven’t changed…

Revoke driver’s license permanently and confiscate the vehicle, to be sold at auction to pay for treatment of kids injured by other such morons. Too much? Maybe, maybe not.

We should do the things that we cannot stay on this app because we would be banned for it. That’s exactly what we need to do with those people. My father used to throw rocks and hurl 4X4s at cars that would do this.

Prison for 5 years. Everyone knows to stop ESPECIALLY in that scenario. No leniency. Sucks to suck. I’ll die on that hill.

I hope she immediately wrote down that person's license plate. It's never okay to pass a stopped school bus 🙅🏻‍♂️

Death penalty. Seriously. If you’re such a scumbag that you are willing to risk children’s lives to save 1 minute on your commute, you aren’t compatible with society.

Hope that kid learns to.look both ways now. Our society is making people retarded by making everyone feel like others are responsible for your safety.

Isn't it illegal to pass a school bus that's dropping off kids in America?

1 year forfeiture of their drivers license with a test to get it back. Second offense is permanent forfeiture, no exceptions.

Hit them hard with a big fine and make them take a remedial driver's ed class.

Should be arrested for attempted vehicular homicide if it’s for a minor in this situation No excuses as the big red stop sign and emergency blinkers are on for the bus. Should be a felony, then more people would take it serious.

Something that they'll feel. $5K fine would work.

Take their licenses away for a minimum of a year, huge fines, driving school, and maybe force them to say what they did to a room full of grieving parents who have lost kids to irresponsible drivers like them..

Teach them how they need to look both ways before crossing a street

It’s a nationwide epidemic, cellphone use and uneducated drivers, also lack of empathy or consideration for others due to poor time management 😡

Good job to the bus driver for being aware of their surroundings and responding/honking quickly. I hope this was handed over to the police.

That should be a minimum 12 month license suspension. Our bus driver used to pull the front of the bus a couple feet across the center line to prevent this

Reckless driving and possible attempted vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence. The problem is they would end up in front of a judge that will do nothing about it.

These people who PURPOSELY endanger children in instances like this should lose their license 🪪 for a YEAR, pay 💰 a $1,000.00 fine, take safe driving courses and publicly express their remorse for their actions to the parents of EVERY SINGLE CHILD on whatever school bus 🚌 they go around… You are NEVER 👎 in that big of a hurry that you can’t wait 30-45 seconds for a child to safely get off of a school bus 🚌!!! God forbid you take a life of one of these innocent 😇 children…

When I was a kid the bus driver took their plate number and a deputy sheriff went to their home and took them to jail.

People don't pay attention when they are driving far to often and phones have made it worse. As a truck driver you see this and worse almost daily anymore. Glad the kid was OK no thanks to driver of the car

First - children should not be let off on the wrong side of the street. I do nit give a flip how inconvenient it is for the bus driver - childrens lives are far more important. Meanwhile, the driver of the car speeding past the bus, which should have had a stop sign out needed to be stopped whether that sign was out or not. The flashing red lights on the back of the bus means "stop". Thank God that child is ok.

Parents should be ashamed, teach your child to look before they cross especially if they travel outside of north America where the rest of the world doesn't have a 'no overtaking rule'. As there is such a rule in North America then driver must be found and punished

Chase them down and beat them until that never happens again.

In Florida you face an approximately $250 fine, 4 license points, a mandatory driver improvement class, and if you pass on the side with the door that children use a mandatory Court appearance and increased penalties. A repeat of the offense within five years requires a 90 day minimum driver license revocation.
