As much as I despise the F word, my stodgy Presbyterian judgementalism is ok with this.

Just like it’ll take some time to grow her hair back, the sanctification of her vocabulary won’t be overnight either. I’ll give the pastor the benefit of the doubt that he’s laughing as he was just caught off guard.

Some of the responses to this are more concerning than dropping a swear word at a baptism.

This isn’t a baptism it’s a weirdo larp. Christ tells us how to baptize people in Matt 28 and they can’t even read it. They’re not Christians.

Um, she might need to be quietly pulled back out of the baptismal until a bit more further counsel is given. Cursing will be forgiven by truly repentant believers, but she proudly stated that foul word right after saying she was repentant. Based on this I don’t think she really understands repentance yet.

Based on the “pastor’s” behavior to her cursing, there is a permissiveness in that place that probably leads some to death.

I can’t tell if this is just a young believer or a false saint. I like when people are un coached like this because we can see their legitimate selves. But when we see their real self we’ll inevitably see flaws.
