We're only year 3 of a decade (if not multi-decades) long transformation of work. 3 years ago we bet on building an horizontal platform for work with agents, a chance to invent a new operating system for companies, from scratch, with AI as a fundamental premise. Many people considered us crazy for going after that, praising verticalized AI products as the winning strategy. But here's the thing: the time horizon of tasks successfully handled by agents has been predictively increasing form minutes to hours and will in all likelihood reach the equivalent of days and weeks of human work equivalent in the coming quarters. This is were verticalized and/or single-player AI falls short. Single-player tools, one person, one agent, confined to your machine is the wrong architecture for what's coming. We're shifting from using AI to produce things, to managing fleets of agents that do the producing. 3 years ago I wrote[1]: "ChatGPT is the Pong of LLMs. [...] Imagine, one day we'll get the DOOM, Civ, Red Alert, and Counter Strike of LLMs. Let alone multiplayer modes." Weeks long tasks in companies are inherently collaborative and mechanically spanning multiple teams. The new bottleneck in harnessing agents within organizations is coordination: multiple humans and multiple agents need to work together, with shared context, shared tools, shared goals. Agents that can hand work off to other agents or surface decisions to the right person at the right time. Humans who can review, steer, and step in without losing the thread. Teams that can run parallel workstreams and actually stay aligned. This is Multiplayer AI, and that's what we've been building at Dust. It is absolutely uncanny that Mr. Robert was wearing a blue shirt and blue vest today, ready to learn about Ronin. Mr. Raymond was teaching both gentlemen about crypto and the importance of owning their own assets, without banks being able to lock up or steal your finances without your permission. This is a huge issue in Kenya, as it is everywhere in the world really. Mr. Robert spoke in the local Kiswahili dialect which translated roughly to "this (crypto) is the direction the world is headed" with a big grin on his face. Luke Barwikowski 🚜 - Well, we made it happen bro. Much quicker than I anticipated. We were truly blessed to have met Mr. Robert out of 50+ sellers at the local market who was actually open-minded and smiling the whole time. This goat we named #LukeTheGoat and I want to share with you how special this event is. Mr. Raymond's newborn baby (about 6 months old) is also named Luke. They love this name and this goat was donated to their baby boy on your behalf (of course once you reimburse the 17.61 $RON it will be official 🤣). So, blessings to you bro and all the Lukes. I’m so honored to have made this song with Willie Nelson. We’re gearing up to celebrate this living legend’s 90th birthday this weekend in L.A. and he’s still out here kicking ass. What an absolute treasure and inspiration to us all. I can’t really find the right words to describe how much this means to me.. Like most of us, I grew up exposed to Willie’s music.. a little boy hearing my dad sing “blue eyes crying in the rain” at the request of grandpa Bill sitting there with a cold beer in one hand and one of his lil’ pinner joints in the other with a big smile through the whiskers on his red face. I wish grandpa was still alive. We’d be kicking up a fuss!! Willie’s music has helped shape so many of our lives, even if we don’t know it. It’s there. It’s woven into the fabric of our nation.
