Losing a match from two sets up would break any man, especially one with few to no significant achievements. To have it happen in the quarterfinals of a Grand Slam is even worse. Crying on Big Foe's shoulder is totally understandable, and Big Foe not celebrating too much (even resisting tearing his shirt) was absolutely goated. Pure class 👏

The commentators are in heaven, they were rooting for Tiafoe the entire match so was the public! The why is truly puzzling. I’m absolutely disgusted watching this devastated young man who didn’t get the support he deserved!

This is why tennis is my favorite sport. What sportsmanship by Tiafoe. Michelsen should hold his head high. He definitely will have greater moments ahead. It was just an incredible fight back by Tiafoe.

Tiafoe knows.‼️ The man doing the consoling has been the one being consoled. Tiafoe reached this same semi-final in 2022, and again in 2024. He lost both. Same tournament, same court. Michelsen has just lost his first major quarter-final, and he is being held by someone who knows exactly how long that stays with you.♥️

Oh Alex, I was moved too damn...good on Frances to hold him when he needed the most. This boy has been so much under radar when American Tennis is discussed no? Tears aside, Alex should be proud, he deserves worthy recognition in making a mark in his home slam.
