This is not correct though. Florida has the highest per capita rate of surgeons in the country. Utah is #7. Though if you look city by city, SLC is #2 to Miami. Surgeons don't equal procedures though and the Southeast, incl. Florida, tops the country is highest number of procedures per capita. I guess they don't release statewide info due to privacy laws. Safe to say,the answer is Florida.
