The game's justification for this was that "Society is so apathetic they will ignore this obvious attempted murder" and "The police will let him get away with this Bowser Side-B level attack because he can say its an accident" (This game fucking sucks)

I'm glad society at least saw it as bad enough to set off the subway alarm and get her off the track but not bad enough to do LITERALLY ANYTHING ABOUT THE GUY WHO IS KNOWN FOR SLAMMING PEOPLE ON THE SUBWAY NOW OBVIOUSLY TRYING TO MURDER SOMEBODY

The guy who gets lightly brushed by the subway slammer is out fucking cold getting medical attention from a bystander over 20 seconds later. subway slammer is at least high building level
