The leading object is the second stage. The trailing object is the first stage orienting itself for the freefall descent to the drone ship where it lands. I assume that’s Los Angeles, so the rocket launched from Vandenberg.

I saw something like this a few years back! I thought we were being attacked. Someone told me that it was one of Elons rockets. Nothing came of it so I moved on. But WHO really knows.

Yep. Elon's rocket. The little pulses are the booster slowing down and turning itself around for the flight home.
