I was up in my attic one time trying to adjust the big TV antenna up there, a college football game was barely coming in and some friends were over and wanted to watch it. And, I accidentally slipped on a rafter and boom put a foot right through my ceiling into the hallway. Later that day I told my neighbor what happened, he was a home builder. He came over about 30 minutes later with some supplies and patched the ceiling roughly, and I did the finish work over the next few days. I can still tell where the texture isn't quite right, but nobody else would even notice. Don't do that, it's a pain!
