WHAT THE???

I happen to be doing my twice weekly look at clips today. Roddy told me the first time I met him in 1991 at the Royal Albert Hall when I asked for advise “Always Wrestle from the heart”. He went on to say that he knew he wasn’t the best wrestler in the world but never doubted he wasn’t once he walked through the curtain and brought everything he had as far as intensity and energy. After I’d been doing this for over 20+ years and I heard his music the hairs on my arms stood up because he always made me feel and for the time he was out there, believe in everything he did. Ilja comes to mind straight away as far as younger Wrestlers today that make me feel that and I’m a hard sell.

Incredible. Thank you, for sharing a small glimpse of that amazing moment!

I am sports entertained. 😂 I underappreciated Piper when he was alive.

Thought this was Kyle Fletcher from an alternate universe for a second

oh my god

Roddy Piper rules

This was filmed for Rob Dydrek’s Fantasy Factory, season 4 episode 7. The whole episode is good, has Piper training Rob for the match.

Yall don’t remember watching Rob and big??????

Piper made wrestling look real, what a wrestler

Okay, but why did Tyson actually think Roddy would shake his hand?

i miss Tyson Kidd competing so much cho

Fun fact: this was actually a part of an episode of Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory. How do I know this? I remember watching this shit as a kid lol

Different generation. The sequence is Tyson puts up his fists for the "Come on! You wanna fight?" thing which gives Piper the chance to do the "Whoah" thing, offer the handshake & then slap Tyson again when he "falls for it". But hey, can't let the marks think you're weak.

Is that Nattie’s husband??

Piper was a magician for his craft.

Those were almost all safe; intense.

Thought this was AI lol

Piper was still so quick

I remember this being on an episode of Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory

I miss Roddy Piper

He would have been a shocking surprise entrant at that year’s Rumble match

Worked himself into a shoot??

What

The was at Axxess. Cool memory.

Rob tagging with someone who isn't Big??? Whaaaaaaa
