200 children will be put on a puberty blocker trial in the next few weeks. Some may be as young as eight. Wes Streeting has rightly said he's uncomfortable about it. He should trust his instincts and stop the trial.

I think is shocking. Health Secretary, I spoke to him about it in the House of Commons today, expressed my concerns. I know his instincts are that he's very uncomfortable about this. I would just say to him, listen to your instincts. The vast majority of the British public do not support this”
