I feel like my whole life has been a lie.

Same.

It’s cornstarch not flour y’all. Pay attention!

i would be so pissed if i tried this and it didn't work. all that damn grease wasted. lol

Something about this seems wrong

She put the flower in the grease, and then added the chicken? so all this time I didn't have to get my hands messy with flour and batter?

Bullshit. Flour burns in oil.

Lowkey I might try it

pls buy your friends whisks for christmas

She didn't really explain it, and it doesn't look like she only put cornstarch in there plus cornstarch bybitself burns in oil

That’s a lot of hot sauce

Too Lightskin not enough crunch I’m good

Wait…she fried the breading before she coated it and fried it??? *mind blown*

White people don’t season they oil

That's a container of cornstarch

This is remedial. There is no reason to put corn starch in oil. You mix the corn starch in with the flower to crisp the breading. So instead of breading you are doing what exactly? And if you are using spices for the chicken why are you bathing it in hot sauce?

You can also use the cornstarch to clean your oil too by mixing it with a little water and slowly stirring

She did a quick edit before the chicken was done

I use it to make things more crispy

Am I the only one who folds their wings before frying?

Better still mix flour and the corn starch It'll be very crunchy.

@luluface20 I need to know Does it work for turkey wings 👏🏾👏🏾

Ion trust it

That looks like cornstarch not flour 🤷🏻

Nah. You'll burn that flour, unless you cook it at low temp, which is not how you fry things.

@Grok, will the chicken come out this way if you add Corn Starch to cooking oil and fry it?

I bookmarked so fast!!!

I feel like I do this my house blowing up.

@TheFarmerChef you told me bout something like this before. I think I’m gonna put it to the test this weekend 🫣

Waste of grease 🤷🏿♂️

Why though? The breading is like the whole point...or at least half the point.

But can you use the grease again? I can’t see how with all that corn starch in it.

I feel like this is how the Chinese restaurants do it. But I'm not willing to risk perfectly good wings to find out. Maybe one day in a better economy.

Wait, what?????
