What Velma could’ve been

If the series ended like this, without a layer of quippy irony over it, I'd forgive the entire series instantly.

Something like this is one of the few examples of an actually good meta plot because it doesn't say "ah ah we're aware of being a show" but rather utilizes part of the fiction aspect to create a twist that doesn't ruin the immersion.
