What was Star Wars trying to accomplish by making the #TheMandalorianAndGrogu? Here’s what I originally thought the plan would be for this movie. I couldn’t have been more wrong.

They are making that movie which will come after Ahsoka season 2. This movie was just essentially season 4 of mando but in theatres instead because of the writers strike and needing to put a movie out instead of just tv shows. The Heir to the Empire culmination movie is still coming. They laid out the plan years ago… idk why everyone forgot and is hating on this awesome movie.

It’s still coming I remember the Dave Filoni movie is coming and thought that’s the conclusion to the so called Mando timeline with all the shows and Mandalorian and Grogu is only the beginning just gotta give em time to create.

Nobody gives a crap about any of those characters. Why would anybody want to bring them together.

So many ppl do not watch the Disney plus shows. I agree to a certain extent that there should have been some cameos from the shows. But like you said they wanted to make a movie easy to follow. I watch the shows. My girlfriend does not. My 6 year old watch some of the shows. We all equally loved it. It was easy to follow for my girlfriend. My kid was laughing throughout the movie. And I got a long episode of the Mandalorian. Perfect popcorn fun

I’m actually kind of glad they didn’t. It felt like an exclusive mando adventure and surprised me on the big screen in subtle ways that I appreciate. It was a dope street level cyberpunk/Stars Wars movie on the level effect the first Spider-man movie had back in 02. I digs it.

That’s a separate movie from this one, they can’t really just jump the gun to that in a movie since not everyone watches the shows they gotta reintroduce the characters into movies the shows are just the backstory setup

I heard that they had to hide money from when they had that Proxy fight with Peltz. So they dumped it into this project that they thought up on the fly. That’s why it looks crap because it wasn’t really supposed to get made.
