The Assembly Elections are probably 11 months away but TMC have unleashed their attack dogs on the principal opposition party; BJP. This shows that they are losing ground and that's why they are resorting to violence so early. The Party Office is located in the Cooch Behar town and the incident unfolded in the presence of Mamata Police. TMC Goons along with Jihadists who are under the patronage of Mamata Police executed the attack. Several of our Karyakartas got injured badly. Recently, BJP MLA from Cooch Behar South Assembly Constituency; Shri Nikhil Ranjan Dey was attacked by TMC Goons while he was going towards Dinhata Court. Today's incident has reignited concerns over the deteriorating law-and-order situation in the district and all over the state as well. The attack is a deliberate attempt to intimidate BJP workers and a blueprint of the TMC's desperation to cling on to power through violence and thuggery. In this election as well, employees were arrested and spent 18 days in Dum Dum Jail. All gadgets are still in police custody.” That is fine and expected, but why did he never share these stories when TMC was in power? The Police & Administration remain mute spectators as because these elements are associated with the ruling TMC Party and they are weaponized against the Opposition, especially during the time of election. But as they say, what goes around comes around. Now things are starting to get out of control. These riotous elements have started to target the Hindu MLAs of the TMC Party. In two separate incidents, two TMC MLAs were targeted by their rampageous party 'colleagues' on Thursday night: Name of MLAs and name of the assailants:- # Smt.
