And Tanzania, we have offered Tanzania to also be a part owner of this refinery. So the technical teams who have agreed they are going to look at where it's best suited and wherever it's best suited we'll do that refinery."

The price of fuel is heading towards N2000, and we know this was caused by the war going on between the USA, Israel, and Iran. Whenever the crude oil price goes much more than the protected benchmark in our budget, what happens is that it leads to excess funds for the government. So, let the government take that excess fund that was never budgeted for and use at least 60% to subsidise the crude being supplied to Dangote Refinery. When that is done, the cost of the feedstock to Dangote Refinery will reduce, and this will result in the gantry price of petrol reducing. ~ TUC President Festus Osifo urges the federal government

Farouk Ahmed is trending because lovers of Nigeria are calling for the resignation of the NMDPRA Chief, after he revealed that; 1. Dangote's refinery is not licensed, 2. It's incomplete, only 45% built, 3. Dangote wants NNPC to give him monopoly on petroleum products in the country. 4. Dangote's product are not authentic. If the Grangemouth refinery closes then this will be felt by local businesses. I will take up the Minister’s offer of a meeting to tell him in no uncertain terms that if the refinery does close then the consequences will be dire. Grangemouth needs UK Gov support, not just words.
