"What we're talking about here is the SEC specifically separating from the NCAA.. Greg Sankey said that's not their preference though" ~ Heather Dinich #PMSLive

@CFBHeather Then remove them from all NCAA sports: football, basketball, baseball, softball. They won’t do it. Call their bluff.

@tyschmit @CFBHeather Everybody is so sick and tired of the SEC thinking they are so above everyone else.

@CFBHeather Good riddance! Level playing field just means SEC can’t buy players and past few years proves SEC cheated their ass off paying to win.

@CFBHeather They can’t compete for national championships anymore so they’re going to make their own.

@CFBHeather This is such BS!! The SEC, who forever have lived by the mantra, “if you ain’t cheatin’ then you ain’t tryin’. Now wants to separate over playing by the rules? No, it’s about the SEC still getting the most teams into CFP and Big Ten winning 3 straight titles. Hard stop. Period!!!

@CFBHeather Man I hope it happens. I guarantee there are more fans of all the other schools than there are in the BIG and SEC. They will have 3/4 of the country that aren’t fans of any of the teams that have no interest in watching them.

@CFBHeather Do it then both ESPN and the SEC would be on that little island they have been wanting forever!!

@CFBHeather Where would SEC baseball, volleyball, and softball play. All are non revenue sports. Why would partners allow you in their association when you broke away. They bring no money so why would they be forced to allow you to participate. No one is asking or answering.

@Genetics56 @CFBHeather The SEC is a league known to have serious rule following schools.

@CFBHeather Well those Deep South states would know a thing or two about seceding.

@CFBHeather Why do you have guests on the show and then talk the whole time?

@CFBHeather

@CFBHeather Call the bluff as soon as possible

@CFBHeather Nah, boring. We already have the NFL. And they already play each other.

@CFBHeather SEC wants rules so they know which ones to break

@CFBHeather Like we haven't seen how this ends before.

@HitemWreckem @CFBHeather Sounds like backsliding. I think Sankey’s threat is more bark than bite.

@CFBHeather Do it Greg! Break away! Kill every athletic program in your member schools! That is leadership.

@CFBHeather Then the NCAA should force them out in EVERY OTHER SPORT TOO!!! Then we’ll see how big their threat is!

@CFBHeather This boils down to SEC schools cannot financially keep up with other schools and conferences NIL. The tell is them screaming for “new rules” that would curb legal NIL when for decades they were paying players under the table. Touch grass, SEC.

@CFBHeather SEC following that LIV golf model

@CFBHeather The SEC's threat to leave is a red herring & vacuous. ESPN would lose hundreds of millions of dollars from inevitable decreased viewership. SEC GOR payouts would drop 40%+. The issue is the SEC's cheating advantage is gone (NIL) & it shows. The SEC: it just means morons...

@CFBHeather Not gonna happen. Too much risk and reward is just not there. Not to mention, players wouldn’t go there unless NIL is just stupid and at that point what would they have accomplished? They would be directly competing for viewers with the NFL at that point. This is nonstarter.

@Genetics56 @CFBHeather Really bad look for a proud conference with deep roots.

@CFBHeather Thanks, ESPN, for helping the SEC reshape college sports. And let’s not pretend ESPN has no interest in getting more SEC teams into the Playoff. That’s like owning Home Depot and shopping at Lowe’s. Nobody’s buying the “neutral” act.

@CFBHeather Let me translate: "We had it good for a lot of years when we had an advantage no one else had. Now that we're on a level playing field, we can't compete. Let's take our ball and go home."

@CFBHeather Would result in CART/IRL Split level disaster IMHO if the SEC actually seceded

@CFBHeather Is this more because the @SEC hasn’t won a championship recently? Would leaving the NCAA give them less access to the CFP since they wouldn’t be playing by the same rules as others? The boy way this would make sense is to get the @bigten to go with them.

@CFBHeather

@CFBHeather Live look in at SEC media days

@CFBHeather They got 5 teams in cfp last year. What a bunch of babies

@CFBHeather I hope so much that this happens. It will be the end of the SEC.

@CFBHeather Stop talking about it. Do it and be gone

@CFBHeather Calling what the sec and big ten do COLLEGE football … is a joke ! SAVE COLKEGE ATHLETICS

@CFBHeather How you feel about getting a new contract Pat while ESPN is firing all you compadres????
