Fun fact, Mami did this conciously, she didnt kill for the moment. She eliminated Kyoko first since she was the best fighter. She was going to kill Homura since she was the time leaper. And then kill madoka(The weakest there mentally right now)

It isn’t shown in the anime but I thought it relevant to bring up that in side material (I believe Wraith Arc and Scene 0) Mami has actually convinced many girls to contract just so she wouldn’t be alone anymore, but each one disappeared/left her..

honestly lots of ppl are too harsh on her for this crash out. ofc what she did is despicable but i cant imagine knowing what you were fighting all your life, the fear, the danger, you learn this is what you'll turn into. terrifying.
