How ironic… and animal with no feet steals a flip flop! 🐍🩴

As a biologist I cannot explain this with science… hell I guess I can try. If this video is real, my best guess is that this is a fanged species and it bit the flip flop defensively, but then its fangs got caught in the foam. But if that’s true what I can’t figure out is that weird upright posture, and that it didn’t attempt to free itself from the flip flop before retreating. When I’ve seen similar situations the animal usually attempts to free itself before retreating and if they cannot, they’ll drag the prey item along with them across the ground. Not exactly carry it off like a golden retriever, but hey maybe this something new 😅

Give the snake the other sandle so it has a matching set.
