With no combustion engine, for sure you would have cleaner America. Regardless of what you or I think, cheap oil will be fine in 20 years. It’s not a matter of green or climate change - EVs are just better than ICE cars. Even if you burn coal, they are still cheaper to operate, less repairs and much faster.
