That kind of hiking requires a firearm. Bear spray at the very least. To have one’s entire family out there with nothing but a camera is fatal.

Dude has his toddler out there and doesn’t even have a gun… he probably brought a soy latte instead.

I would send my child to my wife. I would then take careful aim and wait. The bear would be absolute buzzard food in about 10 seconds because I don't carry "bear spray" *** also just asking, who is stupid enough to hike bear country with toddlers and no firearm?
