He probably wasn't running to attack but the guy's reaction put him in attack mode. Unfortunately there was no way for the guy to have known this so his first reaction was to protect his dog.

i would simply get the small little dog and put him back inside than go back outside and release my aura "only 10%" and in doing so would scare the other dog

Picked up our little dog is exactly what I did. That stray similar looking dog never looked at me and I was ready to fight. In a pack, the Alpha doesn’t run down the street screaming. He’s the best fighter that defends his pack maybe with a little help. The stray walked. He knew.

If it’s my dogs fight then it’s my fight, yes I would feel very guilty to hurt another dog but I’m not gonna let my dog get bitten to death in front of me I rather get hurt then my dog.
