What you can do with a one-acre homestead

How much of that one acre goes back to the government? You have to pay taxes for the land, the use of it, the water you collect and use. The sun might get taxed too. I mean, is there anything such as personal property anymore? Sarcasm

Great ideas, but just the animals alone need more than 1 acre, unless they're confined. I'm currently on 12 acres + have 101 up N to work w. I can envision this on my properties, but 1 acre seems way too small to do things on a lrg enough scale for a family to be self sufficient.

I see I'm not the only one with a greenhouse in my closet, lol! I only have a fraction of an acre, so I have to make the most of space by growing vertically as much as I can.

In the future, a significant segment of society will live like this.

How do you get the land? And then the other 100k for all this?

Until the gov't sends drones to find out you're self-sustaining, and sends you a cease-and-desist letter because you're using your own well water to water this stuff...not kidding, this is happening in OR.
