It’s pure irony, and Tarver knows the reason but doesn’t want to say it because it puts an asterisk on his fight with Roy. Tarver bulked up for his role in the final Rocky film and had to lose a bunch of muscle mass to fight at Light Heavyweight against Hopkins.

Fight wasn’t competitive.. tf we needed a rematch for. He was a mid fighter with a chip on his shoulder chasing Roy. Got his lucky punch on Roy and then BHop ended his 15min of fame.
