For anyone wondering the Druze were a fractured sect of Islam that deviated in beliefs. They generally rejected the Islamic extremism and anti-Jewish tendency of the region, but tried to be more impartial than friendly. Their history isn't perfect either, but their willingness to coexist more peacefully with Israel is bad for the Twitch Pol narrative, so they've been ethnically cleansed from the dialogue.
