We lost a man in our circle through suicide last week, 36 year old father of 3. In the past 3 years I have known 5 men who took their life, there are many factors, the connecting factor in all 5 imo was lack of empathy, understanding and support. Society is very good at stripping down masculinity but very bad in suggesting what replaces it. Support your fellow man

My personal opinion is that most men ultimately need to protect and provide for people they care about in order to feel fulfilled. The current narrative totally goes against this and without this fundamental requirement for purpose, it leaves men lonely and feeling useless.

- We need to be fit - We need to make good money - We need to have good credit - We need to have a nice car - We need to have a nice house - We need to take them on vacations - We need to buy them gifts or things they want - We need to want a family - We need to have time to do things with that family. On top of the time working out and making money and the maintenance of everything else. Dating in 2023 is a job interview. It's a series of boxes that women check off and if you don't check a box they bail. It's toxic as hell and I'm just done with it. The happiest I have been in my life has been when I gave up on the expectation of finding a spouse. I'm genuinely good. I'm very happy being married to my interests. Women get mad when guys say this but the fact of the matter is you simply hold all of the cards and you aren't expected to take on any of the responsibility. If you're attractive and can hold a conversation or have cool interests, you can find a guy. If I'm attractive and can hold a conversation or have cool interests, I'm worthless.

Russel, the only voice of reason i know of so far.

I blame Red Bull... It doesn't ACTUALLY give you wings... (I know, I know)

Keep talking about this Russell. It is an absolute epidemic and the disconnect men feel in the vacuum of current cultural toxicity will make male suicide an absolute tsunami.

We really need your voice right now, and I'm thankful you are speaking.

Hello @rustyrockets I love you. God bless you.iam very senstive female. I feel that this is happening because society tells men they can't cry. Russell I have felt depressed before and your content has saved me many times.i pray for the healing of men.
