As a combat veteran I appreciate the sentiment but please focus on those that gave the ultimate sacrifice and their gold star family members. Memorial Day is a day of remembrance of those that lost their lives in defense of this country.

Just a quick update—today at noon, I’ll be having surgery to remove a malignant tumor. Thankfully, the outlook is very positive, and no further treatment is needed beyond routine monitoring. I’m incredibly grateful for a wonderful medical team and expect to spend the next few days recovering. God willing, I hope to be back on the road (or in the air!) by next weekend. Your prayers and support mean more than I can say. Much love to you all! Exodus 15:26, Psalm 107:20
