Everyone keeps saying it’s a waste of resources but the rescue team gets paid by peoples taxes regardless if they have to rescue someone or not. Unless something more pressing was ongoing and had they had to hold off on addressing it then it wasn’t a waste.

I was in my late 20s, (in shape, worked out 3-4 days week) my sister in law, took me on a hike in Yosemite. She’s not a “gym” person but experienced hiking Yosemite. I can’t remember the name of the trail but it was long, all day. I was dead at the end, feet & ankles were shot.
