You’ll see hundreds of patients brought in and queued up in ambulances for the holy water blessing from Guru ji. The blessed water in pink plastic bottles can be purchased at ₹10-20 when Guru ji himself isn’t there to personally treat the critical illness. The queue for blessings next day starts building as early as evening of the previous day. The irony is deafening- people are believing in this superstitious practice more than the intensive treatments of NICU, ICU, LICU.
