The assassin is going to be a wild goose chase. I heard/ saw reports the shooter was 200 yards away with a rifle? Ballistics 101: 1. That loudness of the rifle captured by the microphone was way too high for a shot from 200 yards away. 2. When a bullet from a rifle flies over your head, it makes a "ping" sound. If it is fired away from your head it makes a "pop" sound. 3. This gunshot sounded like neither, so it was possibly a hand gun fired at close range closer to parallel to the microphone. From parallel you can hear the bolt snap more. Which predominates the sound I hear on the recordings so far. We shall see!
