Through two weeks in 2026, none of that is showing up. He is 32 of 54 for 401 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions. 59.3 percent. 71.6 rating. ESPN QBR 29.3, 31st in the league. The Chargers have lost twice by the same score, 26-14, to Arizona and Las Vegas. Mike McDaniel is already his fourth offensive coordinator. The new system wants the ball out on rhythm, not the vertical shots Herbert has lived on. That timing is not there yet. Three turnover-worthy plays in two weeks.
