Good guest appearance by the poop here.

- Come Around

I have a feeling that come Opening Day Devers is gonna be on IL, Bregman will be at 3B, Grissom to 2B, Hamilton in the infield utility role, Campbell in AAA and Yoshida at DH. What happens from there I have no idea...

I haven’t seen anyone mention that Devers can be better at 3rd simply by having Bregman around to talk shop with I’m not saying it creates a huge jump in defensive prowess but it definitely can help in some ways

LF Duran CF Rafaela RF Abreu (if healthy) 3B Devers SS Story 2B Bregman 1B Casas C Wong DH Yoshida * the ideal lineup in my opinion*

I learn more about the Sox on these walk and talks then any other source. Don’t stop doing them Lou!

They don’t believe Campbell is an elite 2b, better opportunity for him in left. Also allows for devers to stay happy at 3rd and a story + bregman middle infield. And yoshida dh

I was thinking similarly, however, because the bats take longer to adjust with pitching during Spring, is managing staff more concerned about at-bats early as opposed to defensive comfort?? Maybe offensive ability will help decide alignment? Just a thought.

Weird What is Weird.....play ball!

The issue is the GM for signing players to play out of positions. The Red Sox had a hole in LF & in 2B this offseason. All, they needed to do was sign Teoscar Hernandez to play LF & Jorge Polanco to play 2B. K.Campbell & R.Anthony were forecast to join the team later on this yr.

Theres a lot of weird shit going with this team. I have been 80% of all spring training games and it feels like the Red Sox are the only team not putting their real lineup or even 50% of their opening day lineup out there we are lucky if we get 2 Mayyybe 3 starters out there WTF
