This is from Chicago. (USA drives on the right). As you can see, buses do keep changing lanes and will stop frequently at bus stops. There is no dedicated bus lane. If you are behind a bus, you gotta wait, or find a way to safely change lanes. So when the local buses in India do it, please understand that it is quite normal. Pls Don’t honk, be patient. #RoadSafety TGSRTC

This father had to go in the street to stop cars from passing a STOPPED school bus with extended stop signs so his daughter could get off the bus! Sad that people have to do this to get people to stop. Sometimes the law can vary by states but it is pretty standard. Seems more and more people aren’t paying attention or simply do not know the law when it comes to stopping for school buses. A few seconds or maybe a minute is worth it to keep our children safe. Belgian teenagers raised money to buy a school bus for Ukrainian kids from Hostomel (it is an area that suffered badly when the Russians invaded Kyiv region). Most occasions this resolves itself on its own amicably. Bus drivers must prioritize the wheelchair user. Asking the parent to move the prame brings its own attention……
