Unfortunately, we have zero civic sense and no fear of law. On the one hand, we worship Ganga river as mother but on the other hand, we don't mind polluting it in the name of puja- archana. Our religious practices need to be modified as we do all kinds of visarjan there.

Pathetic. Some strict fines and consequences needed.

This is the essence of Hinduism rituals - anywhere in India. This vid doesn't capture 'robust competitive spirit' of pilgrims, priests, mgmt staff, sellers, etc. - within their respective groups, and with others.

Civic Sense + Inability of the administration to implement fines. NGT had imposed fines on plastic bags and cutlery in Haridwar and Rishikesh @pushkardhami @haridwarpolice please take cognizance

The people who eat Rs 42000 crore should be asked how clean has the Ganga become?

Proper Facilities, Monitoring, Administration & Civic sense all Just blaming Civic sense alone is not correct

Civic is missing, but more importantly people throw garbage on a place where garbage is already being thrown. So first, it has to be cleaned by authorities regularly, so that it remains relatively clean. Then the chances of people throwing garbage here will be lesser. As no one wants to take the blame on themselves of creating the mess. They throw garbage because others are throwing.

Chalta hai wala attitude hai, apna samjte to aisa nahi karte😬

Around 10% bad people litter, 90% good people suffer because of that. Admin should make sure because of a small set of uncivilized people, a large percentage of population shouldn’t suffer. Catch the culprits, punish them and clean the area as fast as possible.
