I get being frustrated. I get missing the days where you could name your team’s starting roster in back to back years because it was the same roster. I get longing for the old school rivalries and matchups mattering because it is local kids on the team staying home playing against those rivals. I get it all. I feel you. I understand you wholeheartedly, but let’s not act like these kids are doing something wrong. We play the game because we love it but also because of the future and opportunities it brings financially and these kids aren’t doing anything but acting in a situation that is brand new ! Not just for them, but everybody involved!

Coffeezilla thinks that $STRC is going to fail because it's 11.5% yield is "Too good to be true" comparing it to the Terra Luna moment and described it as a "Ponzi Scheme". There's absolutely no substance to his claims because he doesn't understand it. He sees the headline interest return and then compares it to every other high yield return product but spectacularly misses the fact that this product is nothing like them. He says that Strategy are 'not obligated to pay you the yield'. Correct....but it's clearly not in their interest to not pay the divided, so why would they not? Culture is genetic because behavior is genetic. This beaver never saw a dam in its life. No beavers or anything else ever taught it to build a dam. It wants to build a dam because it is a beaver. Many beavers together build a big dam. That is beaver culture. Humans are not different. Nothing is different. This is what life is. This is how life works. Your body is your mind. A caterpillar wants to build a chrysalis. A bee wants to build a hive. A lion wants to build a pride. You are not special. You are not above your nature. you are INSIDE of it. The thoughts that we think are genetic thoughts. The crimes we commit are genetic crimes. The art we create is genetic art. Just like this beaver, you can give the animal different sticks and it will build a different dam, but it will always build a dam. And you can give humans different "education," but the human will always use it to do what its genes tell it to do. This is the first big answer that you need. This is the biggest piece of the puzzle. This is how to understand people 90% of the way. You just... notice what they do, and get out of the way, and watch them do it. And if they need sticks, you give them sticks. And if you don't like what they do, you have to get away from them. You cannot train dam-building into them or out of them any more than you can with a beaver. A beaver wants to build a dam because it is a beaver. Whatever you see people build, that's what they wanted to build from the sticks they got in the river they were in. Stop pretending you can change it.

This is the opening section of the Brahms clarinet sonata in F minor. Here you get the themes of the first movement. Chamber music is nice and interesting because you hear instruments like the clarinet in their full glory - not just as a component of the orchestra, drowned out by strings. Different instruments can hit the f minor pitch, but they all do it with their own timbre - that’s the individuality of the instrument, and you get to experience that in works like this. And someone like Brahms can work out smaller ideas with just a piano and clarinet that he might use later in larger symphonic works. It’s a more intimate form of music because it’s going to be played in a smaller room with fewer listeners, but also because the composer might be trying out something out that isn’t necessarily ready for the big stage. In all events, the opening theme has a haunting quality to it I like this time of year, when it’s rainy and dark. Full link in next post.
