These guys on the beach were challenging people to see who could climb the rope to the top. 77 years old or in his case, young, and making it look as easy as if he was in still in college. I would surmise that he is in the top .01% of his age bracket. I hope to be half as agile as he is at that age. Phenomenal shape. Do you think you’ll be able to climb that when you’re his age?

BROWDER: We can't predict what event could trigger uprising in Russia. We're as much in the dark as Putin is. But, the more pressure there's in this dictatorship, the more likely it's that at some point the whole thing blows. Putin is getting boxed in from all sides right now. On one side, he's losing soldiers at rate that requires him to replace them, and if he replaces them through general conscription, that creates anger. On the other side, Putin then has to put pressure on those people not to express their anger in a way that threatens his power. That could either have the effect of suppressing them or it could have the effect of provoking them. Nobody knows what could happen or how it could happen. But as a betting man, I wouldn't bet any time soon that Putin is going to lose power because he's been pretty good at holding onto it for the last 26 years.

I sat with him about an year ago for the channel Pakistan Now. In the wake of recent debate between Pakistan and Afghanistan border issues - I thought to start sharing his discussion points here in a series. Today I'm posting it's part - 1: Why did he choose this subject in particular? What was the idea behind this book? It's time that the reseachers, politicians and even military establishment start reading and understanding about this subject, so that they may equip and prepare themselves against the continuous hammering of a lie, which has been spoken so many times, that people started to believe in it as a truth.

Did you know there might be a second language on the Book of Mormon gold plates? Most Latter-day Saints have heard that the plates were written in Reformed Egyptian, but not as many people realize that the Book of Mormon started as essentially a different language first. And the relationship between these two languages, I believe, supports the authenticity of the Book of Mormon. What the Nephite language started as, is described in the first chapter of the book of Mormon as "the learning of the Jews and the language of the Egyptians." Scholars have theorized that this first language could contain a mix of Hebrew and Egyptian features. So the Book of Mormon writing may have started out looking something like this, a Judahite variety of Egyptian known as Palestinian Hieratic that is attested in Lehi and Nephi’s day. But languages don’t stay static. After hundreds of years, it seems this earlier Egyptian language evolved into a modified, or Reformed Egyptian, as Moroni calls it at the end of the book. So maybe something like this. Since the writings of Nephi and Mormon both appear to be included on plates that became the Book of Mormon, one would expect their languages to look different. And Martin Harris’s visit to Professor Charles Anthon may show evidence of this shift. New research reveals Anthon may have seen two different transcripts: one that resembled Egyptian—like at the beginning of the Book of Mormon— and another that was harder to identify, just like we’d expect from an evolving, reformed language. Language changing over time is totally natural—just look at how different English was a few hundred years ago! This video clip, which has surfaced on a Ukrainian Facebook page, is most probably of some members of the Russian forces captured by the Ukrainian army. The captured men are identifying themselves in the video. Most or all of them are not Russians. In the video, one captured man is saying that his name is Rana Mohammad Jewel and he is from Bangladesh. A Bangladeshi who joined the Russian army died in the war with Ukraine some time ago. It is apparently becoming clear that at least some Bangladeshis have landed in the Russian army against their wishes and got trapped in the war with Ukraine. There is a high possibility that these Bangladeshi men were enticed by human traffickers in #Bangladesh and/or the Middle East and ended up joining the Russian force. The government in Bangladesh should swing into action, track down all Bangladeshis trapped in the #Russia-#Ukraine war and make arrangements for their safe return to their families at home. The government should also launch an investigation to hunt out the agents or human traffickers who lured the Bangladeshi men and forced them to join the Russian army. The government should also launch an awareness campaign to warn the vulnerable young men in Bangladesh about the life-threatening risks of joining the Russian forces.
