And this story disappeared from the news cycle. I remember this and have always wondered what happened to those babies and kids. It’s not so much as adoption as it is selling them and having them raised as white. Erasing their culture and heritage.

This was from Trump's 1st term, when they were ripping infants out of mothers' arms and detaining them separately. The babies and toddlers were put in "tender age" shelters based on their age. The horror of that name & act caught Maddow off guard & hit her like a ton of bricks 😔

They did this with children under age 4 during Trump 1.0, as well. Betsy DeVos' family allegedly ran religiously affiliated adoption services that made obscene amounts per day related to care for these children.

I remember when this episode aired. My heart broke right along with Rachel's. If an investigation ever gets conducted on this, I wouldn't be surprised to find out the majority of those stolen children were *SOLD* TO EVANGELICAL HOUSEHOLDS.

I remember during Trump's first term They were taking babies separating people at border sending them to different places. When Biden took office his administration helped to rectify this by getting parent & child back together. Is this an old report or is this happening again?
