I stick to the middle lane, and people still try overtaking from the left like it’s normal. Buses & trucks hog the right lane. Bikes cruise in the middle. No rules, no logic, just survival. This isn’t traffic, it’s a daily gamble.

A Daily Gamble With Speeding Traffic. Pedestrians Risk Lives on Nagar Road Crossing Nagar Road has turned into a perilous ordeal for pedestrians. With the traffic department barricading major intersections across the city including the busy stretch near Phoenix Marketcity vehicles are now forced to move ahead and take distant U-turns. But at these U-turn points, the absence of speed breakers, traffic signals, and zebra crossings has created a dangerous situation. Pedestrians attempting to cross are left battling a stream of fast-moving vehicles, each step a risk to life and limb. Adding to the chaos, several vehicles drive the wrong way from the Phoenix Marketcity side to reach the U-turn sooner, blatantly moving against the traffic flow. On multi-lane highways with more than two lanes on each side, vehicles can end up side by side during overtakes, which can be risky if one of them swerves/encroaches into another lane. To avoid the above risk and maintain CAS, I waited until the red car finished overtaking the truck before overtaking the red car myself, maintaining a safe space on the sides. It's important to avoid overtaking a vehicle that's already overtaking another. An example from Instagram, where the above risk is demonstrated is in the tweet below.
