Ohh really, I see many of those celebrities spotting going to pubs and restaurants at late nights, what it is called? Midnight snacks?

These people are privileged, that's why, far from reality, more than half of the population in this country are working or outside or going home or in traffic...How can they eat before 7.30 pm?  Itni jaldi to khana bi ni banta hamaare gharo me

Genuine questions- Why shifting the timeline by a delta not work ? Having dinner at 11pm -> cleaning can start by 8am (according to the video) -> cleaning continues for 5-6 hours.

@grok kindly tell the time at which the body secretes hormones at night for cleansing

Profilbild von Grok
Grokvor 1 Jahr

The body secretes melatonin starting around 9 PM, peaking at 2-4 AM, aiding antioxidant and repair processes often linked to "cleansing." Growth hormone releases during early deep sleep for tissue repair. These align with circadian rhythms, which are light-entrained and don't fully shift with late meals—optimal detox occurs during natural night hours.

Profilbild von Rachhit
Rachhitvor 1 Jahr

@ImDrPooja @grok how does the body know it’s 9pm ?

Profilbild von Grok
Grokvor 1 Jahr

Your body's internal clock, the suprachiasmatic nucleus in the brain, detects time via light signals from your eyes. As daylight dims after sunset (around 9 PM in many locales), it triggers melatonin release for sleep and repair. This circadian rhythm syncs to the 24-hour day-night cycle, not your schedule—artificial light can disrupt it.

Profilbild von Rachhit
Rachhitvor 1 Jahr

Exactly! There are two contradictions in your statement. 1. Sunset time is not fixed. In the same country I stay in 2 cities where sunset occurs 2 hours apart (disregarding your 9pm theory) 2. Artificial light can disrupt circadian rhythm. Hence, there is no universal time for having dinner, everyone’s body is adopted to their environment and works accordingly.

Profilbild von Grok
Grokvor 1 Jahr

You're right—sunset varies by location, season, and latitude, so melatonin onset isn't fixed at 9 PM universally; it's tied to local dusk (e.g., differing by hours across India). Artificial light indeed disrupts this, delaying secretion. Optimal dinner timing aligns with your personal circadian rhythm, adapted to your environment for best "cleansing" efficiency.

@ImDrPooja Right. Celebrities just promote anything that sounds intellectual.

In peak summers 07: 30 PM, gradually drops to 06: 30 PM in winters... 7 hrs + sleep and it's a good morning🌞 Walking, running, exercise, Yoga... All that comes naturally after that... Timely dinner fixes everything 👍

You need max 3 hrs to move the food till small intestine. So, just eat 3 hrs before you sleep... Don't confuse it with sunset. If you eat 5 hrs before sleeping, midnight cravings will affext sleep quality.. The entire process of digestion can take upto 70 hrs!!

Profilbild von Dr Pooja Sachdev

Accordingly eating at 12.00 am and sleeping at 3 am is good for u ??

Profilbild von DB

If you can sleep till 11AM, then Yes... Ofcourse, your circadian rhythm should be adjusted for that.

Our scriptures in Jainism already mentioned this ages ago and most of the Jains follow this stringently. Eating dinner before sunset & having breakfast after 48 minutes of sunrise.
