The video is amusing, but a bit disingenuous. Problems with PSN requirement: > Age verification requirement in the UK > Constant data breaches > Only available in 69 countries > People in countries that aren't available were allowed to purchase the game

Forced third party account link: "Just make the account" AAA busted games on launch: "Just pay full price" Loot boxes: "Just ignore them" DRM: "who cares" Games deleted from libraries: "You didn't own them anyway" Getting 25% of a game at full price and waiting for the rest in a DLC: "Just buy the DLC" Same energy

It seems to miss the fact that this wasn't required for months. Also that people who live in places where PSN is unavailable now can't access a game they paid for.

Disingenuous to the real problem people have with it.

This gay dude doesn’t get it, this ends now. This is the line. No more accounts. No more separate game launchers after purchasing from steam. We have to make our stand now.

The argument is the Sony has had so many of their accounts hacked over the years and PSN isn't available in alot of regions

It's a choice before you buy or install the game. Not 3 months later or you can't play.

This is my take:

The Sony guy should have barged in at the last minute after he was happily playing the game and taken the game off him for the crime of being born in the wrong country.
