new onboarding for audibible 💅💅 after reading RevenueCat’s SOSA 2026, I decided to go all-in on the onboarding for my app. 😤 it’s basically a mini-app inside the app ! The idea was to highlight the biggest features right away and create that « wow » moment that helps convert new users so I designed three slides after the intro, each showcasing real content from the app along with different ambiences. Each slide is also narrated with a read-along experience, so users can both listen and follow the text, which is the key feature of audibible. the goal is to make the onboarding feel much closer to the actual audio experience of the app now lets hope it’s worth it 😅

Tested: Windows 11’s ‘faster’ File Explorer (preloaded) is still slower than Windows 10. On a 4GB RAM test machine, File Explorer used ~32.4MB of RAM without preloading. After turning on preloading, Windows quietly adds ~35MB more. So Explorer now sits at ~67.4MB in memory before you even open it. 35MB isn’t a big deal in 2025. Your browser eats that for breakfast. That's not the point of my testing. Why is the preloaded File Explorer still slower than Windows 10? I made a video to compare the two versions.

After 10 days of back and forth with Apple, FaceScreen is finally live on the App Store. To function properly in the background, this app needed VoIP entitlement. But Apple gives VoIP entitlement mostly to video calling apps like WhatsApp and others. However, after explaining to them the use case, showing a video demo, updating the privacy page, they eventually passed the review. Shout out to Lucas ✦ again for helping me with the PIP issue.

I've seen similar cases before, and after checking the affected phones, the culprit was always a third-party app silently running in the background. These apps often hide themselves from the app drawer and inject ads across the system. So don't panic. If the original person who uploaded the video is willing to provide remote access, I'm confident I can identify the app that's actually pushing those ads.

Let's compare the app opening and closing animations in iOS 27 Beta 1 and One UI 8.5.
