Wheeled humanoids typically struggle with stairs and complex terrain, but Paxini’s TORA-DOUBLE ONE appears to be solving this problem. It just demonstrated clearing a 21.5 cm (~8.5 inch) obstacle. Midea has just introduced a six-armed super-humanoid robot designed for complex task handling and multi-step operations,essentially functioning as a self-contained workstation. The new humanoid is an upgraded version of the earlier Miro wheeled humanoid robot. In August, Miro was deployed at Midea’s Jingzhou factory in Hubei, working alongside AMRs, single-arm four-wheel robots, KUKA robots, and human workers. The six-arm Miro will soon join this lineup as well, further boosting the factory’s intelligent automation and operational efficiency.

🇸🇪 Sweden has ordered 94 additional CAVS wheeled armored vehicles, based on the Patria platform, worth about €140 million. The order includes multiple variants — troop carriers, command vehicles, and medical evacuation vehicles — indicating Sweden is investing in a flexible, modular force structure. The CAVS program unites several countries (currently Sweden, Finland, Latvia, and Germany) around a single standardized vehicle and a unified supply chain. With this new order included, Sweden states it will have a total of 415 CAVS armored vehicles, to be delivered between 2025 and 2030. Given Sweden’s geography, population size, and military potential, as well as the capabilities of these modern wheeled armored vehicles, this represents a significant boost to the country’s motorized forces. One UI, including One UI 8.5, has a long-standing issue with the back gesture: lag. My finger moves, but the animation lags and doesn't follow the finger's response. This puts it behind all other OSes. Comparing One UI 8.5 with vivo's OriginOS5 and OriginOS6 reveals that Samsung's gesture response is the slowest, and I haven't been able to resolve the issue with Home Up. Samsung needs to optimize this. Another problem is that the icons in Samsung's animation are too ugly when they are shrunk. The icons are forcibly stretched to cover the page. Samsung borrowed this from OriginOS 5 at the time, but vivo fixed the problem in OriginOS6, and Samsung One UI 8.5 still has no improvement.

OP1 has all the moves. It was designed to be safe, productive, and easy to deploy. Many companies we've spoken with are concerned about legged and wheeled robots being tipped over; OP1's not getting knocked down. Many battery-powered robots need downtime to recharge or swap batteries; OP1 plugs directly into a standard power outlet and runs continuously, never needing to recharge. Many robots require difficult integrations, such as being bolted down to the floor; OP1 is on locking wheels and can be moved around easily when you need to move it. At Ultra, we're on a mission to make the world's most useful and deployable robot. OP1 is a big step (or in our case, extension) in that direction.

But by learning constraint relationships and storing them in memory, robots can solve these tasks much faster; with fewer trials and less training. Most humanoid projects talk about real work. Very few last an hour on a real line. This week I saw a case that matters for anyone building robots, perception, or physical AI. Kinisi deployed its first mobile manipulation system into a live recycling facility. Not a demo. Not a staged test. A real production line with real output pressure. Why this matters if you want robotics to deliver real value on your floor: • Handles mixed glass with random poses and no fixed fixtures. • Runs real grasp selection under noise, vibration and production variability. • Maintains throughput while avoiding breakage on a delicate material. • Shows mobile manipulation doing actual shift work instead of controlled lab runs. Kinisi published a video that shows what the robot sees and how sensor data turns into action. This is the part most teams struggle to explain to customers, so the educational angle is useful for anyone working on adoption. On top of this, the team signed a pilot with a global automotive manufacturer to explore humanoid use cases in production. The direction is clear. Wheeled mobility (not legs!) plus strong perception seems to be shaping a large part of industrial humanoids right now. I know Brennand from earlier conversations and from our podcast session, and I am always glad to see European teams push the category forward. If there's one thing I disagree with, it's removing content, but I think this particular move ruins a good character. This move is a neutral skip. A lot of range, a lot of tracking to the right, some tracking to the left. you have to be more clean with your side step, +5 on block and ch launcher. I think if there's one move that ruins this character's , it's this move.
