Also an incredible scene: John Preston's first experience of music, the zoom into the gramaphone, the play of emotion on Christian Bale's face, the shattered snowglobe and the first strains of Beethoven's Ninth. Astounding filmaking.

this movie gets hate. its a little over the top sure. but for the era it came out in. very entertaining. cool to watch.

Gunkata is good enough to make for some great fighting scenes. The whole movie got a set of wonderful world building shots.

I like to imagine Equilibrium is the actual sequel to 1984
