If you’re a trader, it’s easy to become detached with the value of a dollar. When you sit at the screens and see money leave and enter your accounts, you need to remind yourself what that money can actually do for your life. When I first became profitable, I was just trying to cover my living expenses. First a phone bill, then groceries, and eventually a mortgage payment.
